Tonsillitis is the inflammation of the tonsils which are almond shaped glands at the back of our throat. 1. Fenugreek Seeds

3. Ginger

Extract the juice of a piece of ginger and add it to warm water and mix in some honey. Drink this liquid slowly to get the feel in the throat. We can also drink ginger tea made by boiling a piece of ginger in water for 15 minutes and then straining it. This herb is available in dry form or as lozenges. A porridge can be made by mixing the slippery elm in warm water and mixing in some honey. The elm can be liquefied in a blender if there is difficulty in swallowing.
