If you are a frequent sufferer of constipation, then you need to check your regular food intake seriously. Unknowingly you may be having too much of chips, fries, doughnuts and refined carbohydrate. Fries contain high amounts of trans fats, the main contributor of constipation. Are you drinking sufficient water? A healthy adult should drink at least two liters of water daily to maintain normal bowel movement. Get into the habit of chewing fruits instead of relishing pizzas and burgers. Too much of beverage intake can be another causative factor. Cakes and pastries may be mood lifting for the time being but can be very punishing while answering nature’s call.
