5 Homemade Facial Toner For Oily Skin

5 Homemade Toners For Oily Skin:

1. Apple Cider Vinegar:

Apple cider vinegar is slightly acidic in nature that makes it an amazing anti-microbial agent helpful in freeing the skin from bacteria and other microbes. It can be used for toning the skin and making it all free of marks.Add 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in one cup of water. Stir to mix properly. Now apply all over your skin with the help of a cotton pad.

2. Mint Leaves:

Another very famous skin toner can be made with the mint leaves. It has the powerful skin cooling and soothing property that helps in keeping the skin in great shape always.In a container, add 6 cups of water. Boil the water first. Remove from the heat and then add a handful of mint leaves into it. Allow the solution to cool down for some time. Now you can wipe your face with a cotton pad that is already immersed into mint leave water. Wipe afterwards.

3. Green Tea Toner:

Green tea is the most potent toner till now. It is full of antioxidant that our skin needs to replenish the old cells and keep the skin free of any signs of ageing, marks and problem. It has nutrients that help in bursting nutrients and maintaining overall healthy skin. Green tea is also potent enough to lock the moisture into the skin cells and remove excess of oil. It is the ultimate skin toner that is packed with the polyphenols helpful in destroying the free radicals responsible for causing wrinkles and fine lines.

In a cup of boiling water, add about 1-2 green tea bags. Place aside so that it cools down. After 20 minutes, remove the tea bags and use the tea to spray on your face. You can also store the excess into a spray bottle. Do spray on your face every morning.

4. Lemon:

Lemon is one of the widely used ingredients for a number of skin care purposes. It has the powerful anti-microbial property that helps in keeping the skin free from any kind of microbes. For oily skin, it works great as it a natural astringent that takes away excess of oil from the face and tightens the skin pores thus taking away all the bacteria and germs at once.

In 2 cups of fresh water, squeeze one whole lemon. Mix well and pour into a spray bottle. Spray upon on your fresh face applying with a cotton pad everywhere.

5. Cucumber Water Toner:

In summer, you must not look for any toner but cucumber water toner. It has the best cooling property that provides the burning skin a cooling sensation. Also, it helps in cleansing the skin pores from dirt and excess of sebum. Removing all the extra oil from the face, it helps in creating a perfect balance of moisture and oil in the facial region.

You can form cucumber toner by grating few pieces of cucumber and extracting juice from by squeezing it. Use the juice to spray on your face and keep moisturized and fresh 24 hours. Also, this is natural so you do not worry about any side effects.
