1. Oily Skin:
Almonds are also beneficial for oily skin. This is a face mask as well as exfoliator . To prepare this you would need handful of almonds, half a teaspoon of Fullers earth and one teaspoon of rose water. You would need to make a granular powder of almonds and mix it with fullers earth and rose water. Mix it well to get a thick scrub like consistency. Now apply this on all over your face and let it sit for 15 minutes. After that scrub gently for a minute in circular motion and wash off with cold water. The coarse powder of almond helps to exfoliate the dead skin cells and remove the dirt and impurities very well. Apart from this it also helps to remove the blemishes and lighten the skin tone. Fullers earth helps to absorb the excess oil from the skin and control the acne. Rose water acts as a natural astringent and helps to shrink the enlarged pores. You can use this mask twice a week.
2. Combination Skin:
Combination skin requires oil control as well as the moisturization. This facial mask helps to take care of both the needs. To prepare this mask you would need Few soaked almonds, one teaspoon of rice flour and one teaspoon of rose water. First of all peel off the soaked almonds and make a smooth paste by using grinder. Now add one teaspoon of rice flour and one teaspoon of rose water to it. Mix it well to get a smooth consistency. Now apply this mask all over your face and let it sit for 20 minutes. Wash off afterwards with cold water. The rice helps to control the excess oil effectively and almonds help to moisturize the skin. You can use this face wash twice a week for best results.
3. Dry Skin:
Almonds work best on dry skin. It contains high amount of vitamin e which helps to nourish the dry and flaky skin effectively and give a natural glow. It also helps to give you a softer and smoother skin with regular usage. To prepare this mask you would need few soaked almonds, four tablespoons of milk and one teaspoon of milk cream. Peel off the soaked almonds and make a smooth paste. Now add milk and milk cream to it to get smooth paste. Apply this mask on all over your face and keep it for 20 minutes. Wash off with cold water. This face mask would help you to get soft , supple and glowing skin instantly. Milk contains lactic acid which would help you to deep cleanse the skin and even out the skin tone while milk cream would help you to improve the skin texture gradually.
4. Sensitive Skin:
Sensitive skin tends to react very easily on chemical laden products. Hence natural remedies and products are best to take care of it. Almonds are also suitable for sensitive skin beauties and helps to impart the natural glow. To prepare this mask you would need to soak few almonds in water over night. Peel off in the morning and make a smooth paste of it. Now add one teaspoon of raw milk to it and mix well. Apply this mask on your face with the help of a brush and let it sit for 15 minutes. Wash off after wards with cold water. This mask would help to deep cleanse the skin, calm the irritation and add a natural soft glow to your skin. You can follow this mask twice a week.
5. Tanned Skin:
Sun tan is one of the biggest skin concern specially in summers and most of the women try to use the chemically laden store bought packs and bleaches to get rid of it. But you can also get a lighter and brighter skin with almonds easily at your home. You would need to soak some almonds in water over night. Make a smooth paste of it in morning. Add one teaspoon of rose water and one teaspoon of lemon juice to it. Mix well and apply it on your face and the affected area. Keep it for 15 to 20 minutes. Wash off later with cold water. This face mask would help to get rid of sun tan effectively with regular usage. You can follow this mask twice or thrice a week for best results.
