1. Vinegar And Oil Lotion
1/2 cup olive oil/sesame oil
12 cup vinegar
1/2 tsp iodine
few drops lavender essential oil
Mix all the ingredients and keep in an airtight glass jar. Apply before setting out in the sun to avoid the ill effects of the harsh rays of the sun.
2. Oil And Tea Cream
The tannin in tea can absorb the UV rays of the sun and combat its ill effects on the skin. Sesame oil too absorbs the UV rays and the almond oil and lanolin keep the skin soft and supple.
4 tabs lanolin
3 tabs sesame oil
2 almond oil
1/2 cup strong tea
few drops perfume
Brew tea leaves in hot water to make a strong tea concoction. Strain and keep aside. Take an enamel bowl and mix all oils into it. Melt them slowly over a water bath, mixing them properly. Add the strained tea and mix well. Store in an airtight glass jar once cooled. Apply before stepping out in the sun.
3. Sesame Seed Lotion
Sesame has the quality to absorb the sun rays and save the skin from its ill effects.
4 tab sesame seeds
1 cup rose water
4 tab vodka
Mix the sesame seeds and the rose water and store in a glass jar for 24 hours. Now strain the liquid and add the vodka as a preservative. Apply this serum every time you step out in the sun.
4. Bergamot Oil Lotion
This oil can be mixed with coconut oil and has an astringent effect on the skin.
1 cup coconut oil/olive oil
1/4 tsp bergamot oil
Melt the coconut oil/ olive oil and add the bergamot oil to it. This is a handy lotion and should be applied every time a person is out for sun exposure.
