Lemon has always been the wonder item in the kitchen but little did we know that its peel, that is so conveniently discarded, could be so useful. Not only is it full of nutrients which are extremely beneficial for the body, but has great lightening properties that can do wonders for the skin and hair. The Various Uses Of Lemon Peels Are
Add lemon peels, dried or fresh, to the boiling water of herbal tea. Strain and drink this tea for an awesome flavor, great digestion and also to get the benefits of the minerals in the lemon peel.
Add lemon peels to your regular scrub or make a scrub out of the lemon peel by mixing the peels with some sugar, baking soda, and olive oil to make a paste, and scrubbing the skin with it. The skin feels absolutely clean as it is free of dead and dry skin.

Minimize the appearance of age spots by rubbing lemon peels on them. Be careful not to expose it to the sun. With regular use, the age spots diminish and reduce considerably.
Take half a lemon from which the juice has been extracted. Add some baking soda to it and start rubbing the elbows in a circular motion. Regular use will lighten the dark elbows.
